Camp Sonlight Information
Camp Sonlight is for boys and girls going into 4th grade and finishing 12th.
Since the summer of 1974, Victory Baptist Church has sponsored this ministry because of our love for young people. Our fully background-checked volunteers comes each year with a desire to provide a wonderful, safe and spiritual experience.
We are thrilled that Camp Sonlight is going to be held at Camp Thorpe in Goshen, VT.
Camp Sonlight this year is scheduled for August 11 - Saturday morning, August 16, 2025.
Cost this year for 2025 is:
$250 if deposit is received before June 01, 2025
$265 If deposit is received before July 01, 2025
$280 if deposit is received after July 01, 2025
General Information
A licensed nurse will be on duty at all times. All prescriptions must be turned into the camp nurse. The Camper Required Prescription Form (see above) needs to be completed by your child’s medical provider in order for prescription medications to be administered at camp. We are not able to accept campers with contagious diseases such as chicken pox, lice or COVID-19. If your child is showing any symptoms of COVID-19, Please do not send your child to camp and keep your child home.
Registration for Camp Sonlight will begin Monday morning, August 11 at 10:00 AM.
What To Bring?
Bible, blankets or sleeping bag, jacket, toiletries, towels, money for snacks and crafts
BOYS DRESS: T-shirts, jeans, and Bermuda length shorts may be worn for all activities and evening services. No tank tops. Bring swim trunks for swimming activities.
GIRLS DRESS: No low necklines (front or back) or spaghetti straps or tank tops are allowed. Bring loose-fitting shirts, jeans, or Bermuda length shorts for activities and evening services. No leggings or yoga pants. Bring modest swim suits for swimming activities.
Any camper wearing unacceptable clothing may be asked to change their outfits
by camp staff or counselors.
What Not To Bring?
Alcohol, drugs or cigarettes of any kind, fireworks, ammunition, guns, weapons,
clothing with inappropriate graphics, any kind of electronic device, including cell phones.
